Whenever I see several trailers and bits and pieces of a film, I usually expect to be somewhat disappointed when I actually see it, especially a humorous film. The only funny parts are shown over and over. BUT in this film the road to those parts is just as much fun. I laughed the whole way through. Everyone in the film did an excellent job, and "the girlfriend" was great. My hat is off to Ken Scott for a great screenplay and great direction. I hope to see Roy working with him again. I cannot wait to have this one in my collection. It was great to be able to tell Roy personally how much we loved it. He seemed very pleased with our reactions.

Im so glad for you, Lila! smile.gif

I finally saw it too!!

Like I said before, I'm preparing something about LDC, but in the meantime I guess we can all enjoy a few pictures from some of the locations used making the film.

Most of the film was shot in Argentina.
In Buenos Aires, and in a province called Córdoba.

Here's the map.
Cordoba, Buenos Aires and Tucumán are highlighted. (Tucumán is where I live LOL)

At long last I have now managed to watch this film this afternoon. I really enjoyed it and Roy looked very hot heart.gif tongue.gif . The other actors where good but you can tell that Roy is just in a different league to them.

Hi lovely ladies!!! heart.gif

I know, I know, I'm like a ghost for you by now LOL!

Lately I'm not even lurking! Sorry! blush.gif

Anyway, on this same date, just two years ago, came out the news that "Les Doigts Croches" was going to be filmed in Argentina. I was soooo happy back then when I read it, and two years after, I'm even more happy of how it all turned out!

It seems my new hobby is to invent "Roy-Anniversaries"! tongue.gif So, to celebrate this one, I want to share with you a set of 3 fresh & candid collages.

Feel free to join me in this celebration! LOL

Hope you like it!

Cheers! =)

Hi Alby!! Welcome back!

I love these pics!! Especially the one with Roy with the rose through his teeth !!! laugh.gif

The Argentinian one though, I can only get half a picture .. the top half.. [unfortunately no Roy visible!!] I will try again later and see if it's changed....

Thank you so much!

Thank you so much, Alby! I love all three montages! heart.gif I'd like to know who has their arm draped around Roy's neck in "Clubbing"!!! ohmy.gif I love the sense of how much fun they were having in "Tango"...I heard, in an interview that Claude Legault gave on Quebec TV, that he and Roy became friends on the set and had lots of laughs. In "Memoires" - he looks so relaxed watching the soccer game. And...even though I don't like that he was smoking at that time sick.gif ...I do very much like the shot of him with the cigarette in his hand! wink.gif Was that a masquerade party where he was getting a fake beard painted on??? Or is that simply how Argentinians have fun??? rolleyes.gif

Ok!! Managed to see that last Argentinian one by using Firefox instead of Safari !! lol!!

He was certainly having fun there with the little beard!! Looked almost Shakespearian!!! laugh.gif

Delightful pictures, Alby, thank you for those.
ML, whomever the draped arm belongs to, they are apparently much shorter than Roy...and the arm looks feminine (not much hair! tongue.gif ). I wonder if it isn't the same person who is painting the beard on him in the later collage.
Roy looks almost maniacal in the pic with the rose in his teeth. laugh.gif That collage is a hoot!
It looks like the group had a great time.
Thanks again, Alby.
