What the Dickens? ... a double take on the 2009 Rivers Foundation Conference, courtesy of Les & Jewels, our intrepid reporters
The team completed an intel-gathering mission for the Truffe dossier in the RDO Film Locations Tour.
Level 2 operative Marcia rendezvoused with the Montreal substation to perfect her translation of the Francs-Tireurs interview we published last time. Some amendments to the text, and several captures added.
Before we leave Montreal missions, check out the new pic of a level 5 op in disguise at the 2008 Soirée.
Finally, the Loto-Québec advert has been added to the Adverts page, with a link to the video. You'll note also that the date of the Pepsi advert has been revised, and the girl identified.

It has only been a month since your last update, Viv - so I wouldn't say we had to wait very long at all! Thank you so much for all your hard work in organizing all the great intel this month:
I absolutely loved the Official RFC 2009 Debrief by Les and Julie...hilarious!
I do want to add some details, that they skimmed over, regarding their debrief ...but I will check with the Sistahs first, to make sure I have permission. (I wouldn't want to end up in the dreaded White Room!
I also have one question for Les: What green vegetables?
Finally, I admit that the "old geezer", wearing the specs in those long lost photos from Soirée '08, (did anyone catch the name of that Level 5 Operative?) ...kinda "lights my fire"...and I think he "otta be in pictures"!

Viv: Thank you for the update. I am sure everyone, like myself enjoyed it to the utmost and it fired the imagination of those of us who weren't there in person
Marcia: The translation of the interview, to me, was super.....Had one of my daughters (who is a fan of Roy's, almost as bad as myself)..she is the one who introduced me to LFN...watching and reading with me and both of us totally enjoying every printed word. As those RDO fans who speak not a word of French, it was so wonderful to understand an interview. I have sat and watched many in French, consoling myself with a word or two I might understand. Thank you
Of course the sistahs always have me in chuckles with their antics and I look forward to hopefully meeting them next year. Their debriefing was a comedy in words.
Hopefully next year I will be a RV as my other daughter says she will go with me. I know I have spoken with most of you through the years I have been part of the RDO, but it's always nice to have a familiar face along side of me...such a wuss I am
I think each and everyone of you girls who have made your reports, transported me along with you and aside from sitting besides Roy, I was there with you in essence...

Jules and Les, as Marcia said, we two were perfect little angels sitting behind the two of you on the bus........I believe it was the two of you rearranging the wording of a website. But I obviously enjoyed it! That is a whole other story not to be covered here without fear of the wrath of the Tartan Anorak and I know for a fact she trained Madeline!
What a great, wonderful, fabulous, awesome, terrific time we had! And I led a mission without loss of any ops, even those that were expendable.
Viv, went through the locations thread and it brought back great memories of being with you during the search for some of these......

The Sis-tahs were true to form with their debrief...clever and entertaining. It was...Great!
Maricalouise, I can certainly understand and relate to the "stupid grin" that can't be wiped off the face...we all have it, especially after our "first time"! Excellent debrief.
The still photos from the advert are yummy, and having easy access to the commercial is terrific. Thanks, Viv.
All in all, fab additions to the board. Thanks to one and all.

Ditto... sounds like it was quite the party this year...

kk - Thank YOU for making the trip so special! You are a great Mission Leader! Viv must have taught you well.
I'm glad you all enjoyed our debrief and it sounds like my mission was successful. I wanted everyone who reads it to understand that attending Rivers is a fun adventure. Besides the highlight of meeting Roy
Thank you, Viv. You did a fabulous job with the presentation of our debrief. The pics and captions are great!
Thanks again to Maxine, Michel and Roy for planning such a great even

I was a good op, honest!!! And as far as I am aware so was SealsLady! Roy separated us two too - I have NO idea why! And he was fine until he got over to the sis-tah's table and KK !! Gretchen... well... she WAS sitting at another table..... so can't guarantee what she got up to over there! But as her husband was with her - I had hoped she was in control!
Whereas - that KK ... now!!! KK... just spent DAYS winding those poor sis-tahs up and up .... til they could hardly speak to Roy .... and were just about ready to faint! Poor things, and RVs too ! What WAS she thinking of!

Steiny, you are one very bright lady! You know I am not capable of what these Sis-tahs say.
