Just a few things this time - old, new, borrowed, blue(?).
First up, several additions to Les Doigts croches, including 2 new translated interviews, a review which we commissioned MarciaLouise to do, to mark her own 'pilgrimage', and a selection of the best pics from the red carpet.
Similarly, some additions to The Timekeeper, with another new translated interview and some red carpet pics. Featuring Spongebob Squarepants, of course!
No new news here, but I needed to set up the TV page for Les Rescapés.
In addition, we've devoted a new page to Rivers Foundation's Awareness Raising Campaign.
In the Fan Artwork section we've added 3 new portraits by MarciaLouise, and we welcome the very talented Alby with her own section for her inspiring collages.
I've uploaded 2 new YouTube clips - you may already be aware of the vintage Cinéma Anémique film, but you possibly won't be familiar with Roy's guest appearance in Un gars, une fille.
Finally, we've redressed the terrible omission of the 1998 Playboy article with its infamous revelations. Will that do for blue?

Thanks for the new goodies, Viv. I was just recently watching reruns of "un gars, une fille" on Radio-Canada and remembered seeing the page on RDO regarding Roy's guest appearance. I was thinking that I would love to actually see that episode on TV and...voila! You read my mind, you are amazing! I have viewed the video a few times on YouTube already - I don't know if it's to do with my internet connection but I have not been able to view it with the sound and video in sync yet - the sound is always late starting...Nevertheless, just the sight of Roy in those tight jeans makes the video a "must-see"!

You're quite right. I've reloaded it and it should now be a lot better.

Thanks again, Viv. Now that it is in sync - I can almost get everything they are saying...it will only take a few hundred more viewings of Roy

Wow what a great update!!
Viv, thank you SO much for all the TIME and LOVE you invest doing it.
All the new pages and translated interviews are really appreciated.
Both clips are amazing!
Cinema Anemique it's older than me,
a real gem for a Roy fan!
Un gars, une fille it's very very funny!
And thanks a lot for my space!!!
Inspires me to keep "playing" with Roy!
yayyyy!
Marcia, yours it's real artwork!!!!!
Thanks for sharing your BEAUTIFUL pictures!!!!
Charles in Les Doigts Croches was... too much for my weak heart
Me too Marcia, I'll sacrifice myself gladly
We'll really appreciate a transcript!
But... good luck with the concentration part!

Looking like that, I'd gladly support an unemployed Roy for as long as he wanted...

Wonderful updates, viv. This board has been blessed with some very talented people. Kudos to marcialouise, alby, and leslafemme on their artistic abilities.
I was fortunate to see Les's pencil drawings last year when she shyly debuted them at the 2008 Rivers Conference. They blew me away! They definitely deserve a wide audience.
Alby, I imagine you sitting at your computer composing and arranging photos, focused around a central theme, then choosing j-u-s-t the right background to highlight and support the collage. The results are always delightful.
And Marcia, not only can you draw, but you also write well! Your style is easy to read, and we feel like we are right there with you, sharing your experiences. A writer and illustrator in one package. Wow! The muse has certainly been good to you!
So here's to the Muse who inspires us all, and to viv who channels and gives us a place to display the results!

Well of course I'm very grateful to these ladies who are prepared to share their talents to keep RDO an interesting place to visit.
BTW, on the avecenergie page, I've added the correct link to Céline's video, as the site has got it wrong.

Ah, Viv....I knew I cast you correctly
The updates are awesome...as always. I'll have to enjoy them more fully later as I am STILL unpacking (not that I have done much...other stuff going on).
